The Wave of Light
appearing
across heaven and earth
slivers of light emerged
in the murky waters
bleeding
out against the rocks
as it rushed the banks
and raced to the raging sea
pressing
ebb tides and
speeding wind fetch
riding white horses
waiting
there for the storms
that darkness creates
pursued into oblivion
yielding
consistency and intention
holding together
time and light
seeking
it moves through the swells
illuminating the Divine
in the wave of light
preserving
those that seek
the calm beauty
wrapped in His love
